Advent – Christmas 2025
God of the journey, guide our path. This Advent – Christmas season may we
Children of Eden is a sweeping musical drawn from the opening chapters of Genesis. Act I tells the story of creation and the first family — Father, Adam, Eve, Cain, and Abel. As Adam and Eve leave the Garden in search of independence and knowledge, they must wrestle with the consequences of choice and the cost of freedom. Their sons struggle with identity, favoritism, and belonging, culminating in heartbreak and exile. At its core, the first act explores the tension between parental love and human autonomy — and the painful but necessary journey toward growth.
Act II shifts to the story of Noah and the flood, where humanity once again faces the consequences of its choices. As Noah obeys Father’s command to build the ark, his family confronts doubt, fear, and the challenge of trusting in a promise they cannot yet see. When the waters recede, a new beginning emerges — marked by covenant, hope, and the enduring thread of grace. Through powerful music and deeply human characters, Children of Eden becomes a story not just about beginnings, but about forgiveness, resilience, and the ever-present possibility of renewal.

We invite you to join our cast for this exciting production! We’re looking for an intergenerational cast of about 20 to 30 people — children, youth, and adults. If you’ve been on stage before, wonderful. If you’ve never auditioned for anything in your life, that’s okay too. This is a place to grow, learn, and be part of something special together!
If being on stage isn’t your thing, we absolutely need you too. A production like this only happens because of an amazing behind-the-scenes team. We’ll be looking for help with marketing, ticket sales, stage management, tech setup, set construction, costumes, props — and yes, the highly coveted role of rehearsal pianist. There truly is a place for everyone!
